Peoria, IL — BLACK BAND Distillery is proud to announce an extraordinary showing at the 2026 ASCOT Awards, one of the world’s premier international spirits competitions founded by spirits authority Fred Minnick and judged through a rigorous blind‑tasting process by the American Spirits Council of Tasters. With global brands and leading craft distillers competing across every major category, this year’s ASCOTs represented one of the most competitive fields to date.

In the midst of that field, BLACK BAND Distillery earned ten medals, including three Double Platinum—the competition’s highest honor.

Acknowledging the Partners Who Make It Possible

BLACK BAND also recognizes the partners and craftspeople whose contributions make these achievements possible. Janie’s Farm Organics in Danforth, IL, provides the exceptional organic corn, wheat, and rye that form the foundation of the distillery’s grain‑first approach. The Barrel Mill in Avon, MN, supplies barrels of unmatched quality, shaping the character and depth of BLACK BAND’s aged spirits. And at the heart of it all is the BLACK BAND team, whose skill, dedication, and relentless pursuit of excellence drive every step of production.
